Legal Expertise
Tim’s diverse practice includes handling a wide range of liability insurance, reinsurance and commercial litigation matters with an emphasis on professional liability, cyber liability and general liability matters. Tim represents the interests of U.S., London and Bermuda-based primary and excess carriers in claims involving healthcare entities, technology/media companies, financial institutions, lawyers, and agents/brokers. Tim also assists those carriers with drafting technology, media and professional liability policies. In addition, Tim has considerable experience in representing insurance regulatory bodies in market conduct examinations and conducting claim reviews for reinsurers of cedant companies’ claims handling and practices. Tim is an experienced litigator who has been involved in a number of arbitrations, mediations, trials and appeals. Before joining Frost Pearlman, Tim primarily represented liability and property insurers, handling various complex insurance coverage disputes.
Education and Achievements
Tim received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Purdue University in 1991. Tim received a J.D. cum laude from Loyola University of Chicago School of Law in 1994, where he was a member of the Loyola University Law Journal (Law Review). He is a member of the bars of the state of Illinois and the Northern District of Illinois.
